The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, advised Christians in Nigeria to pray fervently for peaceful elections next year (2019). Mr Archbishop, in your country, United Kingdom (UK), do you pray fervently for peaceful elections? The answer is no. Then, why do you do think that prayer will guarantee peaceful elections in Nigeria when peaceful elections are conducted in the UK without prayers?

The Sinner, The Prophets And The God-father And it came to pass, the prophets took the sinner to seek the face of God-father. God-father asked the prophets; why have you come with this man to disturb my spirit? Prophets: we are here to intercede on his behalf. He acknowledged that he has sinned against you, not necessarily against Nigeria. Kindly forgive him, our God-father. That's how Nigeria works, and that's why Nigeria will continue to regress.

The 2-day China-Africa summit ended on 4/September/2018. About 50 Africa’s heads of state attended the summit held in Beijing. Mr Xi – Chinese president promised a total of $60 billion to finance projects in Africa “in the form of assistance, investment and loans over the next three years.” China continues to present itself as a better partner to Africa than EU and US. Well, China can never be better than EU, at least EU observes human rights, which China doesn’t care about.

They started trumpeting how ‘the Donald’ has ordered that prayers must be said before official functions are carried out at the white house. How he has started early morning devotion at the white house; etc.

The decision by President Buhari to seek re-election in 2019 is simply to tell those people, including former president Obasanjo, who dare advice or instruct him not to seek re-election in 2019, that it is within his constitutional right to do so. And I believe Buhari knows very well that he will lose a free and fair presidential election in 2019. But as someone who is obsessed with Goodluck Jonathan, Buhari wouldn't mind becoming the second incumbent president to lose an election in Nigeria.

In April 2014, Boko Haram terrorists kidnapped over 200 school girls from Chibok community in Bornu sate of Nigeria. Well, that was the story given to the world by the Nigerian government. That incident occurred few months to the Presidential election held in early 2015. From that day onward, the then incumbent president (Mr. Jonathan) was labelled as weak and ineffective. President Buhari who was in opposition then was hyped as a ‘strong man’ who would defeat Boko Haram and rescue the Chibok girls.
