“History Will Vindicate The Just” – Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe (Owelle of Onitsha)

Image
A gentleman by the name of Goodluck Jonathan, by providence, became the president of Nigeria on 6/May/2010. The feudal North headed by the Fulani caliphate couldn’t stomach the situation, its beautiful bride - the Yoruba and their slaves in the middle-belt were equally unhappy.

Capitalism

Image
Someone asked me to explain capitalism to him. Well, capitalism is simply Matthew 25:29. And what does it say?  "For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance.  But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away."

AMADIOHA (Africa’s god of thunder and lightening) has visited bigoted Trump and his America

Image
It was Hurricane Harvey, followed by Hurricane Irma, and on its way is hurricane Jose, all originating from the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean is synonymous with the transatlantic slave trade. The route African slaves were shipped to the Americas.

If Thou Shall Not Judge How Shall Thou Forgive?

Image
President Vladimir Putin of  Russia  was quoted to have said; "to forgive the terrorists is up to God, but to send them to Him is up to me". Even though President Putin may not have made that statement, this is one such online statement that the author remains unproven but has gone viral.

What Happens When A Sleeping Economic Giant Wakes Up?

Image
Once upon a time, there was a country that couldn’t feed its population, over a billion people. This country’s inhabitants were ingenious, waiting for the freedom to exhibit their creativity. But they couldn’t express themselves because of the type of government as well as the economic system they embraced. That country was China; the government and economic system were communist.

Do White people have higher IQ than black Africans?

Image
Dr James Watson In 2007, Dr James Watson, the pioneer in DNA studies, told the Times newspaper that he was "inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa" because "all our social policies are based on the fact that their [Black Africans] intelligence is the same as ours [White people] - whereas all the testing says not really". The "Imperfect Man” And His Fears

Image
Mark Twain wrote: “If you pick a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between dog and man.” It’s not only a dog that behaves in this manner. An African (Igbo) proverb states; that a fowl does not forget the man who plucked her feathers during the rainy season.

Friendly Fire From 'Field-marshal' Nnamdi Kanu: Firing At His Own People

Image
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), the ‘prophet’, the ‘Messiah’ of IPOB, has risen from ‘death’. He ‘died’ in Nigeria, but resurrected in Jerusalem. From Jerusalem, he will return to Nigeria, bringing hell with him, in his own words.

The Archbishop of Canterbury: Pray For Peaceful Elections In Nigeria.

Image
The Archbishop of Canterbury and president Buhari But The More We Pray The More Things Worsen In Africa When some people are asked to pray to God for their needs, and other people don’t pray to God for their needs, yet their needs are supplied, confirms the adage: "as you make your bed, so you must lie on it." The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, advised Christians in Nigeria to pray fervently for peaceful elections next year (2019). Mr Archbishop, in your country, United Kingdom (UK), do you pray fervently for peaceful elections? The answer is no. Then, why do you do think that prayer will guarantee peaceful elections in Nigeria when peaceful elections are conducted in the UK without prayers?

The Sinner, The Prophets And The God-father

Image
The Sinner, The Prophets And The God-father And it came to pass, the prophets took the sinner to seek the face of God-father. God-father asked the prophets; why have you come with this man to disturb my spirit? Prophets: we are here to intercede on his behalf. He acknowledged that he has sinned against you, not necessarily against Nigeria. Kindly forgive him, our God-father. God-father: because of these prophets with you, including your knowledge of economics, you are hereby forgiven. Go and sin no more. Sinner: my God-father, may your wish be done! That's how Nigeria works, and that's why Nigeria will continue to regress.

Nigeria’s Deficient Democracy = Autocracy

Image
Adams Oshiomhole (APC Chairman): “only people who can accept the pain of rigging; sorry defeat, should participate in elections.”  The freedom to choose our leaders is a beauty of democracy. In the absence of this basic tenet of democracy, what you have is autocracy. Hence, if a Nigerian politician and his political party know that the electorate will vote them out of power for non-performance, they will work for the people.

Money: From Medium of Exchange To Medium of Influence - The Nigerian Example

Image
Money (banknotes & coins) is a medium of exchange. But some African politicians, particularly the politicians in Nigeria, are gradually redefining money as a medium of influence.  These politicians steal millions of dollars of public funds, not to buy bread and butter, but to control those willing to sell their days for gold – apologies to Kahlil Gibran.

Chinese In Africa: Colonialism Is About Repeating Itself

Image
The 2-day China-Africa summit ended on 4/September/2018. About 50 Africa’s heads of state attended the summit held in Beijing. Mr Xi – Chinese president promised a total of $60 billion to finance projects in Africa “in the form of assistance, investment and loans over the next three years.” China continues to present itself as a better partner to Africa than EU and US. Well, China can never be better than EU, at least EU observes human rights, which China doesn’t care about.

When The Right To Silence Is Golden

The Consequences of Neglecting The Power Given By The People - Leadership Lesson To President Buhari

President Buhari: How Low Can You Go?

When It Is Convenient To Use Bible Verses to Commit Evil

Image
[Well] there are those verses even some of the most literal readers of the Bible ignore because they are just too inconvenient. Take Luke 18:22: "Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." No Christian will ever follow this injunction. It is too inconvenient.

Donald Trump And The White Supremacists' Interpretation Of The Bible

Image
The Face Of Christianity - Intimidation And Slavery When Donald Trump was elected president of the USA, many Christians in Africa, and particularly in Nigeria, saw in Trump the reincarnation of their Jesus. They started trumpeting how ‘the Donald’ has ordered that prayers must be said before official functions are carried out at the white house. How he has started early morning devotion at the white house; etc.

Technically, 2019 Election Will Be The Easiest Time To Become The President Of Nigeria

Image
The decision by President Buhari to seek re-election in 2019 is simply to tell those people, including former president Obasanjo, who dare advice or instruct him not to seek re-election in 2019, that it is within his constitutional right to do so. And I believe Buhari knows very well that he will lose a free and fair presidential election in 2019. But as someone who is obsessed with Goodluck Jonathan, Buhari wouldn't mind becoming the second incumbent president to lose an election in Nigeria.

Boko Haram and Their Kidnappings: Like Chibok Girls; Like Dapchi Girls: Another Deception?

Image
In April 2014, Boko Haram terrorists kidnapped over 200 school girls from Chibok community in Bornu sate of Nigeria. Well, that was the story given to the world by the Nigerian government. That incident occurred few months to the Presidential election held in early 2015. From that day onward, the then incumbent president (Mr. Jonathan) was labelled as weak and ineffective. President Buhari who was in opposition then was hyped as a ‘strong man’ who would defeat Boko Haram and rescue the Chibok girls.
