By the way; who needs 'One Nigeria'?

Sir Ahmadu Bello - Sardauna of Sokoto

Every Hausa/Fulani has hated and will always hate Ndigbo with a passion as evidenced by this video. The man speaking in that video was the first Premier of Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello - Sardauna of Sokoto.

If a man of his calibre had this kind of disdain for Ndigbo; you can, as a matter of fact, imagine the mind-sets of the Almajiris and the ordinary Hausa/Fulani living on the streets of Kaduna, Kano and Sokoto etc.

Ahmadu Bello’s condemnations of Ndigbo arose from the fact that Ndigbo are hard-working people whereas the Hausa/Fulanis are lazy and thus, cannot compete. They would rather receive hand-outs than work, although their leaders designed it that way.

The Fulanis are parasites on the hard working people, yet, they will like to frustrate and eventually ‘kill the goose that lays the golden eggs’. Their only contribution to the commonwealth of Nigeria is violence.

Their hatred for Ndigbo has no boundary. For instance, some years back, a Danish Newspaper published a cartoon of Prophet Mohammed with dynamites hidden in his turban; the Hausa/Fulanis massacred Ndigbo living in the North in protest.

Even, when some of those who participated in the killings were asked
Harold Wilson Disease
why they were rioting and killing Ndigbo; their reply sounded more absurd than the butcheries. ‘They insulted our prophet in Denmark’. Okay; but, what is the relationship between Ndigbo (black Africans) and Denmark (White Europeans) that warrants the killings?

Moreover, after losing the 2011 presidential elections against Goodluck Jonathan (Ijaw), Muhammadu Buhari’s (Fulani) supporters killed Ndigbo that were residing in the North, looted their properties and burnt the leftovers. Buhari neither condemned his supporters’ actions nor apologised.

In fact, whenever there are disputes with Islam, Hausa/Fulanis will target Ndigbo for retaliation irrespective of the part of the world the issues originated from.

Again, Buhari will be contesting the 2015 presidential election against Jonathan. As usual, his supporters have started with violence by attacking Jonathan's campaign convoy; luckily Ndigbo are not yet the target. Typical of Buhari, he is yet to condemn the attacks on Jonathan, if at all he will.

However, the signs of electoral violence are here again. Unfortunately, Ndigbo living in the North will never relocate until they start returning home in body bags. I have wondered what will drive a sane man to reside in an area where his liberty could be taken away in seconds by blood sucking Islamists.

And to those Ndigbo who support Buhari on his pretences that he wants to change Nigeria for the better; let me ask you.

Why didn’t Buhari and his Fulani Sokoto caliphate that pride themselves as born-to-rule, allow Azikiwe, Awolowo, Ekwueme and others, to better Nigeria when they wanted to do so? Actually, his Fulani compatriots didn’t support Nigeria’s quest for independence until it became convenient for them and Britain.

By the way, who needs ‘One Nigeria’? Ndigbo have been in the forefront for ‘One Nigeria’ that Hausas only proclaim when it is time to share oil wealth derived from the Niger Delta and VAT accrued mostly from Lagos State.

The blood of Ndigbo has equally been shed in trying to restructure Nigeria that the Fulanis scuttled. In Aburi, Ghana, Ojukwu and Gowon agreed Confederacy for Nigeria only to be repudiated upon his return to Nigeria; presumably on the orders of the Fulanis.

The outcome of his actions was Biafra war that killed up to 2million Ndigbo.

As Christianity preaches forgiveness; Ndigbo have forgiven but will never forget. Like Abraham Lincoln advised; “forgive your enemies but don’t forget their names”. If you forget their names, you may not know when history is about to repeat itself.

Buhari has never been a friend to Ndigbo. When he overthrew the Shagari government, he imprisoned Ekwueme who was the Vice President but put Shagari; the President under house arrest. There’s nothing to show in Igboland that Buhari was once a Head of State and PTF chairman.

Although he is preaching change now; nobody knows the kind of change he’s talking about since he has not denied the following statement that he made on 27/08/2001; “I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country”.

Finally, let me remind Ndigbo; the spirits of the innocent children that were starved to death during Biafra war are still crying. Any Igbo vote for Buhari is a spit on their unknown graves. And whoever that supports killers of children; what happened to those children will never depart his/her household.

  1. You may please explain why the Nigerian northern muslims did not protest and murder Ndigbo over the last Charlie Hebdo cartoons? Who signaled their non involvement in the protest? Was it to aid Buhari's election.

  2. theseal,

    Thanks for raising this point.

It is very surprising that there were no demonstrations in northern Nigeria even though neighbouring Niger Republic demonstrated against the Charlie Hebdo cartoons.

However, you have already answered the question. Of course, it didn’t happen this time and Ndigbo were not killed due to the upcoming presidential election. If you consider their pattern of starting a demonstration, it usually originates from the Mosque after Friday prayers. In other words, the Imams instigate the violence.

And since every northerner wants power to return to the North, any demonstration would have jeopardised Buhari’s chances. This is why I insist that the killing of Ndigbo in the North is predetermined by the Northern elites after which they will lay the blame on the Almajiris.
