Leah Sharibu

Leah Sharibu

“Dead men don’t praise Jah” according to Majek Fashek (a popular Nigerian musician).

A lesson Leah Sharibu (Leah) didn’t know or forgot while in the custody of Boko haram terrorists.

Other Dapchi girls kidnapped alongside Leah were released except her because she refused to denounce Christianity and convert to Islam.

She should have converted to Islam, gained her freedom, and then converted back to Christianity.

Soldiers of Christ who fight and run away live to fight another day. For instance, Matthew 16:18 quoted Jesu; “and I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”

Peter, a soldier of Christ, he even chopped off someone’s ear when Jesus was being arrested, but when he faced death, he denied Jesus 3 times. Thereafter, Peter lived to propagate the gospel alongside Paul and the rest of the disciples.

Some Christians have hailed Leah as a soldier of Christ. Is Leah a soldier of Christ more than Peter who denied Christ 3 times? African Christians are overzealous soldiers of Christ while Muslims are slaves to their Koran.

You who are about to kill and you who are about to be killed should think over your actions. The person doing the killing does so in the name of god and his reward is in heaven.

And the person who is about to be killed dies in the name of god and his reward is in heaven. It doesn’t really make sense to me.

Why don’t we allow god to fight for himself? Every day we pray in our churches and mosques for god to protect us from evil people. Yet, every day we fight each other to protect god from evil people. It doesn’t add up to me.

Anyway, if Leah Sharibu is truly dead, may her soul rest in peace. But if she’s still alive, please convert to Islam and save your life.
